A segment in email marketing is a group of subscribers on an email list grouped by a specific guideline.
Some examples are:
- Loyalty customers
- Visited in the last 30 days
- Last visited site within 30 days
- Bought [product name] in the last 30 days
Each segment can be used to send a personalized email (automated or scheduled) based on their behavior on your website.
